History of the Taylor Blanton Collection: I lived in Panama from 1972 to 1974 and went to the San Blas Islands at least once a month during those 2 years. We always stayed on Wichubwala where there were two outstanding mola makers-Gladys Iglesias and Yolanda Gonzalez. I have a collection of many single molas, most of which were purchased in the islands but some of which were purchased from Flory Saltzman.
